Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You can often find pneumatic forklifts in warehouses and shipping operations. Also referred to as pallet trucks or pump trucks, they are utilized to move things and materials around on wooden pallets using metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump which could lift the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by one individual.
Pallet trucks must be operated with care in order to prevent loss of control while lifting heavy loads. Equipment should be checked before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstructions. Check that the handle turns smoothly. The pallet should be carefully stacked to be able to guarantee that nothing will fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level located on the inside of the metal loop to release the air in the pump and lower the forks. The forks could then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be at the center to ensure equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Raise the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has fully cleared the ground. Do not lift the pallet too high or the forklift can unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and dragging it behind you. It is dangerous to push the pallet in front of you since the momentum could cause it to go out of control. Slowly take turns and don't try to stop suddenly. Stop slowly, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
