Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production ever since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system offers a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer a huge range of optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you accomplish your needs, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. When both precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible, many attachments have been designed and developed like booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to place materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures in order to place loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. New attachments and products are being developed and designed all the time and will be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. For example, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to know the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the extension of the boom and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
