Peiner Construction Cranes Virginia

The world leader in the manufacture and design of a huge range of Peiner Buckets and Grapples is SMAG Germany. Our manufacturing line is comprised of mechanical motor grabs, hydraulic lifting devices, electro-hydraulic motor grabs, a range of other types of specialized lifting equipment and single rope radio control grabs.

Peiner has manufactured and sold more than 75,000 units for the global market. Peiner's unique grabs could handle a huge variety of products and materials such as iron ores, cement, coke, fertilizers, scrap and refuse. Our many years of experience in developing high quality products and the overall designing process helps to allow our customers be given the proven technology their various applications need.

Within the US marketplace, SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. Various businesses such as Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, Scrap Handling, as well as many other material handling facilities like Bulk Transfer Facilities currently relying on our grabs and buckets to do their tasks.

The design philosophy at Peiner has continually revolved around delivering grabs that handle the largest volume of material vs. grab dead weight. The regular handling ratio for Peiner grabs and buckets is around 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent vs. grab dead weight of 40 percent. This means transporting greater quantities of materials faster. There is less wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related components. By combining high quality materials and innovative design with manufacturing, the weight ration that is required is attained.

Grab sizes will range from 1 cubic yard or less to more than 50 cubic yards in order to suit the needs of the customer. What's more, Peiner USA Inc. offers a complete spare parts facility and service facility for the models purchased in the United States, as well as the addition of new grabs and buckets.
